So, hi everyone. I'm back.
I've actually been back for quite some time, but I just haven't been feeling like blogging lately. There has kind of been a lot going on and some of it is kind of hard to talk about.
*Just a quick note: this post might not be filled with the usual swag and pep. I'm kind of sad about some things and I think it shows a little bit. Sorry.
So, first off, skating. This might be the hardest to talk about out of everything here, because I still feel pretty sad about it even though things happened a while ago.
As some have you might have already guessed, I have quit skating. This decision was really tough for be, but it generally boiled down to the fact that I would have to give up a lot to progress in skating and the things that I had to give up were more important to me than skating (aka school, cross country). It was also becoming a bit more like a chore than it was before and I guess it was just kind of time.
That doesn't mean I'm not sad, though.
Also, once we got back from Europe, a lot started to happen and I just got kind of busy and distracted and I had kind of fallen out of the habit of blogging and just kind of forgot about it. Then the whole skating thing happened, then school started.
The start of school is always super busy and it often feels as though a million things are happening at once. Cross country started and I was named captain (YAY!! More on this later), and I had homework again and kind of had to learn to manage that again. But then, about middle of September, after my birthday, everything started to slow down again. And, at that point, I began to feel really sad again. I think it was mainly because I felt like I didn't really have anything to do and like there were minimal activities that I had to complete. I just didn't feel like I had anything to do. I felt incredibly bored. And I still kind of feel that way now.
So, I am going back to blogging and I am going to try to see if that helps, but maybe in the mean time, I'll find a new hobby that I am excited about and will tell you guys about. I think that I'll continue blogging though and will try to post a couple times a week (while I made it out to seem like I have nothing to do, that's not really true: I do still have cross country! I'm going to do indoor track as well again this year. I'm still pretty busy).
Oh! On Thursday this week I'm getting braces! I'm nervous but also just kind of ready to get them on, seeing as we knew from when I lost my first tooth that I would need them. I have lots of teeth, but a pretty small mouth.
Alright, I'll be back later this week,
Pooh Bear :)
So, hi everyone. I'm back.
Hi everyone! Long time no see:(
Sadly, lately blogging hasn't been my top priority and so I have been forgetting to do it....
But I'm back, for a week. We are going to Barcelona on Friday and I am super excited!!!! My mom is leaving for Hungary today, and meeting us there.
I am super excited, but I just wanted to let you guys know about track and skating... So, here it goes.
Last weekend was the state track meet! I got 9th and was soo proud of myself. My team did amazing as well... So that's awesome!
My skates are too small, so I am getting new ones (trying out a new brand). Has anyone tried Edea skates? They look really cool and are supposed to be super comfortable. I am hopeful that these will be good for me. My current ones are taking off my toe nails.... Tmi, right?
I hope you all are having a great day!
Ice show is finally over! It was really crazy and busy, which is why I couldn't post for a while:(
My solo was awesome! I really rocked it!
Right now my skating career is kind of at a cross roads. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I might take it to the next level, who knows?
Alright, that's all for now!
Today I woke up and skated. It was awesome and so nice to be at the rink again!
I have been just being lazy since then though. I have been reading my new book that I got after we went out to eat last night- that's right, my mom got her grilled avocado.
I am not very excited to go back to school tomorrow, though. It isn't going to be that fun and I would really like to stay home some more. But, the good news is that my first track meet is next week! Awesome, right?
Everyday is getting closer to vacation! There is only 56 days until we are off!!!
In other news, I'm actually kind of happy that school is starting again because I will have something to do all day. I have been trying to get my new theme up and running, but weebly just doesn't want to take it.
Have a great weekend!
I don't know about you, but I'm sick and tired of cold weather. I could really use a hot summer day! It's too bad I don't control the weather...:)
The weather might mean that my brother doesn't have baseball practice, which means that since I don't have skating tonight, we could go out to dinner. And since our favorite restaurant is right next to the bookstore, I might just be able to get a book while I'm at it too!
Our trip to Europe is getting closer everyday! I am so excited! Today, because it was so rainy, we went to the mall and I got a cute dress for Rome and also some really nice shirts!
I hope you all are having a great weekend!
I skated again this morning: it was awesome again! I am really enjoying the skating thing I have going here.
I'm just relaxing now and enjoying a large bottle of water (i'm so thirsty!).

I'm just kidding around. This post is more like a...recap of my morning workout.
So, recently I've been in a bit of a skating slump. I have felt unmotivated and like I had no purpose in my skating career. But, then on Tuesday my coach offered to let me skate in the morning. And I did. I used to skating in the mornings before I switched coaches. I think mornings are a better time for me to skate because Tuesday morning was awesome. I think next season I'm going to try my hardest to get my coach to let me have lessons in the morning- or maybe just practice before school!
Yesterday we figured I was going to be bored anyway, so we planned to have me skate in the morning today from 8:15 to 10:00. It was the best hour and a half of my life (there was a fifteen minute ice-make)! I practiced everything: moves in the field, jumps, spins, spirals, and even some fun stuff like a backward shoot the duck and a new spin! I even perfected my camel spin and the grab spin that I recently learned. It was just REALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Today was also productive because I got some serious work done on my new web design-I had to rework it to fit weebly. It's almost ready...I think:)
So, yesterday we reached an all time high of page views on this blog... 42!!! Let's keep this streak alive!
Today we went to my mom's work while she gave an exam! It was really fun to watch and answer questions instead of taking the actual exam :)
I have uploaded some new content onto the site. I hope you all like it!
Take a look around! I have made some new changes even since yesterday! Then, after your done, report back to me with all of your favorites (and what you don't like too!)
So, how do you guys like the new theme? Just if you are wondering: no, it's not the theme I spent hours designing and building. It's the only theme that weebly would let you edit. I have had some serious trouble with uploading the theme to weebly and am just leaving it at this for now.
So, yeah. Bottom line is: if your plan on expanding your blog from five readers a day, you should not consider weebly. And, if you want to design your own website, think hard about your capabilities before you set expectations. Good Luck!!:)
What is your favorite thing about spring?
This morning I started out the day with a nice skate. It was awesome to skate in the morning instead of the afternoon. I was much more awake for it.
Then, I ran home. It wasn't a horrible run, but it wasn't great either. My kegs were kind of tired (I don't know why). I managed to get through it though :).
Also, I came back to a nice smoothie. It was a great way to start off the day!!
