So, recently I've been in a bit of a skating slump. I have felt unmotivated and like I had no purpose in my skating career. But, then on Tuesday my coach offered to let me skate in the morning. And I did. I used to skating in the mornings before I switched coaches. I think mornings are a better time for me to skate because Tuesday morning was awesome. I think next season I'm going to try my hardest to get my coach to let me have lessons in the morning- or maybe just practice before school!
Yesterday we figured I was going to be bored anyway, so we planned to have me skate in the morning today from 8:15 to 10:00. It was the best hour and a half of my life (there was a fifteen minute ice-make)! I practiced everything: moves in the field, jumps, spins, spirals, and even some fun stuff like a backward shoot the duck and a new spin! I even perfected my camel spin and the grab spin that I recently learned. It was just REALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Today was also productive because I got some serious work done on my new web design-I had to rework it to fit weebly. It's almost ready...I think:)
