Today it is rainy/windy/gross out, so we couldn't go skiing. It's to bad because today is our last day!
Luckily, Lil' Bro made us rush down to the bottom on our last run, and we caught the last chair up yesterday.

Devil's River
Groomed: Yes
Difficulty: Black Diamond
This trail received great reviews from everyone, and was even Lil' Bro's favorite trail. This trail has a little kick to it: not to steep, but there are some twists and turns on the trail that make it loved by all.
Lil Bro especially enjoyed this trail because, "It was really fun."
Yup, those are the hard hitting quotes you won't receive anywhere else.
Tachereau
Groomed: Yes
Difficulty: Black Diamond
This trail was one of Dad's favorites (and mine). We went on this one 5 times yesterday, even as our last run. We liked it because it was just as good a McCulloch, but with a few more turns and a lots less popular. The snow stayed in really good shape on this all day.
We took this one as our last run because it still had very good snow conditions. This trail is a little bit harder to get to so less people go.
McCulloch
Groomed: Yes
Difficulty: Black Diamond
This trail was a great way to end our first and second days. You can get going really fast on this one, which makes it a great trail if you are, say, late for lunch and need to get over to the other side quickly so that you can eat (not that that ever happened :)). This trail, asside from contrary belief, is no the best trail for your first black diamond. It is busy, gets pretty icy, and has a pretty steep section.
Lil bro and I took this one morning while we were waiting for the lifts to open on the other sides of the mountain so that we could ski with mom. It was a great one first thing in the morning because it was still groomed and had snow on it.
Erik Guay
Groomed: Yes
Difficulty: Black Diamond
Erik Guay is an excellent trail for first thing in the morning. It has snow, it's not to busy, and you can get to the TGV (a lift half way down) easily from it. But, as the day progresses, it gets crowded and icy. It is still a very enjoyable run. This is one of Dad's favorite runs because it is a lot like Tachereau.
We loved this run as a go to run when we didn't really have a plan. Plus: Dad could go down the double black diamond next to it while we went down that one.
Laurentienne
Groomed: Yes
Difficulty: Black Diamond
This run was icy and crowded. Lil Bro and I had a hard time turning on it because there was very little snow on the trail. We had gone over there because we needed a change of pace and sent my mom down and easier trail. We had planned to do a couple runs while she did that one, but we ended up hating it so much that we just went back up the lift and down that trail.
Final Opinion: HORRID (Wouldn't be an awful trail if it had snow... which it generally doesn't)
Banzai
Groomed: Yes
Difficulty: Black Diamond
All I have to say: Thin and not much room to turn. Plus: ICY.
L'Algonquin
Groomed: Yes
Difficulty: Green Square
Mom's Review
Unpleasant
Grassy
Rocky
Easy to hurdle out of control
Only good thing: A gondola that takes you back to the hotel so that you can recover from the experience.
But besides that, it was fine.
So yeah. Those were some of our favorite trails. Maybe later I will post more reviews on that.
Quick Review: Sides of Mont Tremblant
Nord: Excellent, had many favorite trails on this side. Great place to go if windy.
Sud: Great if it's not too windy. This is a very popular side: some trails can get really icy.
Soleil: Awful, this side was icy, rocky, and had very little snow.
Edge: From what we could tell (only one run at the end of the day), this would be great right when the lifts open to pop over and do a few runs. It doesn't get very crowded, but there are only black and double black runs here.
